Pupil Voice

This year our Junior Governors are working hard to promote children's rights as we aim for Level 1 of our Rights Respecting School award. For more details about what the Junior Governors are up to, have a look at the RRS page.

Raising the Flag

We had a wonderful time raising the flag on St George's Day!

At the moment we are discussing the  tablets that we have in school and whether we would like any more.

We are also thinking about reading and how we can ensure we all read regularly.

At the moment we have been discussing what pupils think of our Big Write. We've also been making suggestion boxes to encourage students at Wyburns to give their ideas.

This week we arranged with Miss Williams to run two assemblies for both KS1 and KS2. We talked about our roles and educated Wyburns about bullying.

We planned them ourselves with no help from Miss Williams and made our own resources. Have a look again at our powerpoint.

They went brilliantly and Miss Williams was very proud.

Autumn 2014

Autumn term for the Junior Governors has been very busy. We've discussed many things and acted upon most of them, including:

  • The code of conduct for moving around the school.
  • We've discussed clubs.
  • Discussing what we like about Wyburns.
  • And we have also completed a variety of different subjects.

The Junior Governors have worked extremely hard helping members of our school.

We asked the children in our classes what they liked about Wyburns. Look at all the amazing things that were said.

Meet the Junior Governors of Wyburns Primary School.
