Reading: 
Please continue to read and share as many books as you can with your child! Our raffle for reading 3 or more times a week has started and we had several children enter which was amazing, please record when your child is reading - thank you! 

 

Maths:

Well done to those who completed their 'Recognising Number' task on Sumdog last week - great job! 
Please find this week's task of 'Properties of 2D Shapes' online.

 

Spelling: The children have been focusing on the 100 high frequency words within their spellings. This week's focus spellings are;

Our focus in English this week has been on poetry, I have challenged the children to see if they can write their very own poem all about themselves. We would love to share these in class! 

 

Home Learning (25.10.24)

Reading: please continue to read and share as many books as you can with your child over half term. When we come back to school, I will be challenging the children to read 3 or more times a week with an adult at home to be put into an exciting weekly raffle! 

Writing: can you begin to write a diary to record your adventures over half term? I would love to hear all about your time off!

Maths: SumDog - Ten Times Table practice.

Geography: Thank you to those who have sent in photos of the children's homes, please can I remind you to bring these in for the start of next term. If there are issues with printing, please send your pictures to the office - thank you!
