Here are your home learning tasks for this week:
1. Read everyday, this will help you to become more fluent and to understand what you read.

2. In Phonics this week we have been working on short and long vowel sounds as well as syllables.

3. Your spellings for this week are attached. These will be checked next Friday 17th January in our spelling quiz. Please learn all 10 and if you would like an extra task then these can be written into sentences.

4. Your task this week is to keep working to tell the time accurately. We have been working on time to o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. You can work on this by using a clock at home or the online clock - https://www.topmarks.co.uk/time/teaching-clock

By the end of Year 2 you should be able to tell the time to o'clock, half past, quarter past and to and to 5 minute intervals. 

We will also work on time problems in the coming terms.
