Week 6 - 7th October 2024
Lots of brilliance from everyone this week, well done Class 2!
This week we have been working on these areas:
Maths - finding number bonds to 100 and then adding by counting on a number line or 100 square. As well as this we have been working hard on our x2, 5 and 10 times tables.
English and History - We have been learning about historical women from history. We found out lots of facts, wrote sentences about them, created a timeline of events and even compared them.
Art - we have been learning to create portraits by drawing features and ensure we put them in the correct place on the face. We've had great fun with this!
PE - we have been adding elements onto our jungle dance. This week we looked at mirroring and worked successfully with our partners to mirror their moves. For outdoor PE we worked hard on our jogging and underarm throwing skills as we built pace and tried to hit the target when throwing.
