A fab first week back full of Brilliance, well done Class 2!
This week we have been working on:
Maths - adding and subtracting using a 100 square, counting and trying to solve tricky word problems.
English - we have been writing acrostic poems for the Palmers Christmas Competition. Lots of creative ideas were shared and you then wrote your poems up in best, ready for the competition.
Geography - our Foundation topic this week was looking at where we live in the world. We located the UK on the map and globe, then we discussed how the weather is effected by the seasons. We discussed where the equator was and how this makes it hotter to live near to. We coloured in a map showing the cold and hot places in the world.
