Our week in Class 6
Maths
In Maths this week, the children have been finishing up adding and subtracting fractions and mixed-numbers. They have worked very hard on this topic and are now ready to move on to multiplying and dividing fractions next week!
English
In English, we have creating persuasive writing on the theme of the Vikings. The children have been writing their own persuasive posters for joining the Vikings, using a range of persuasive techniques to turn negative traits into positive!
Foundations
In PE, the children have continued our gymnastics topic and have been practicing cartwheels and round-offs. In Science, we have continued learning about the heart and the circulatory system. In PSHE, we have discussed how to keep our bodies and minds healthy.
Children In Need
We watched the Gladiators take on Pudsey the Bear live on CBBC this morning! The children loved cheering on their favourite Gladiators taking on some classic sports day activities. We then held our bake-sale in the school hall! We can't wait to find out how much we raised! Thank you so much for all your contributions!
