This Week In Class 6!

Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been adding and subtracting Fractions. They have also been converting mixed numbers into improper Fractions, which they have made great progress in!

English

In English, we have been writing our own free-verse poems about Vampires. We looked at the features of a free-verse poem and located them in given examples. We then researched Vampires from edited extracts of Dracula for younger readers and other texts.  The children wrote some amazing, creative poetry this week!

Foundations

In PE, the children have continued our gymnastics topic and have been practicing performing various actions in a sequence. In DT, we made and evaluated our own Viking Longboats. Thank you so much for the cardboard donations for these! Here are some of our ships ready for battle!
