Hi Acorns, 

This week, we have been looking at the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. We have been listening and acting it out as a class. We would love you to find and read your own favourite fairy tale with a family member.

Practise your phase 2 reading by reading the books provided in your bag. Please can these be returned by the next Wednesday. You can continue to use Bug Club at any time.

This half term in phonics we will be cementing our knowledge of our phase 2 sounds and practising the letter formations, segmenting and blending. 

In maths, we are consolidating our knowledge of numbers to 3. Where can you find them? How can you make them in different way? e.g 1 +2 =3, 2+1=3, 1+1+1=3 See how many ways you can make numbers up to 3 with different objects.
