Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Home Learning 18.10.24

Your home learning this week is inspired by our work on shape poetry. You will see a firework sheet attached. I would like to see onomatopoeia words in your short poem, for example, whizz, pop, bang! Write a few lines to describe fireworks.

Remember you can use your 5 senses to help you and can even include rhyme if you want to challenge yourself.

Here is an example to help you:

Booming, crackling, bursting high,
Splashes of colour light the sky.
Whizzing, popping, dazzling bright,
Fireworks sparkle in the night.

Please do not worry if you cannot print you can write it up on a separate piece of paper and decorate yourself.

Remember to practise your spellings and you can always go on Sumdog and TT Rockstars too 😊
