Primary School

Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Week 1 - 24 Feb

A busy first week back working on:

Maths - solving multiplication and division problems.

English - our focus has been the Gingerbread man story. First we retold it and designed puppets, then we created a new character for our own version of the story.

We have been working very hard on the songs and accompanying instrumental part for the Infant Music Festival, the children have been amazing! We even made music scores as well.

Token reward  - the children enjoyed making cards for a local care home as part of their token reward, lots of lovely cards were designed to cheer up the residents. We can’t wait to take them to the care home soon.
Take a look at the fab photos.

Home Learning - 28.2.25

Here are your home learning tasks for this week:
1. Read everyday, this will help you to become more fluent and to understand what you read.

2. In Phonics this week we have been working on how to spell words ending in er, est and ly.

3. Your spellings for this week are attached. These will be checked on Friday 7th March in our spelling quiz. Please learn all 10 and if you would like an extra task then these can be written into sentences.

4. Your home learning is to speak to your grown ups about what you would like to be when you are older and to decide on an outfit to wear on Monday for our Visions and Values trust day. This is on Monday 3rd March.
I have also attached the book week home learning which runs until Thursday 6th March. Please bring the potatoes and photos into class with you. We have some great ones already!

Enjoy your weekend!
