A super busy last week!
Each and every one of you has worked amazingly hard to show me what you have learnt in Year 2 and I am very proud of you, well done!
We have had great fun focussing on our topic of Rayleigh. We made significant places from Rayleigh out of junk, take a look at our fab photos!
Have a great 2 week break, keep safe, enjoy the sunshine (hopefully!) and I'll see you back on Monday 9th June.
HOME LEARNING
Here are your home learning tasks for the half term weeks:
1. Read everyday, this will help you to become more fluent and to understand what you read.
2. Your spellings for this week are attached. These will be checked after half term on Friday 13th June in our spelling quiz. Please learn all 10 and if you would like an extra task then these can be written into sentences.
3. Your home learning over the half term break is to create a Garden of Rayleigh in a shoe box.
Can you make the Windmill, Dutch cottage, Mount or Church like a garden in a shoe box? Add plants, flowers, green space and some or all of the landmarks.
This task is for a competition and must be made in a shoe box so please make them as amazing as you can. I've attached pictures of Rayleigh landmarks to help you. Please bring these into class by Wednesday 11th June as I need to deliver them to the competition. I can't wait to see you creations!
Have a great 2 week break!
