Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Week 6 - 31st March

Here are your home learning tasks for this week:
1. Read everyday, this will help you to become more fluent and to understand what you read.

2. Your spellings for this week are attached. These will be checked after half term on Friday 25th April in our spelling quiz.  Please learn all 10 and if you would like an extra task then these can be written into sentences.

Your home learning over half term is to have an amazing Easter break! Feel free to share anything exciting that you get up to over the 2 week break. You have all worked so hard this half term, well done everyone!

See you back on Tuesday 22nd April after the Easter break.

Wow another term has flown by!

Class 2 you have all worked so hard and have all learnt so much, well done for all of your hard work! We’re so proud of each and every one of you.

This week we have been working on the following areas:

Maths – we’ve continued our work on fractions where we’ve found ¼, ½ , 2/4 and ¾’s.      This has been tricky but you have been super resilient, well done!

English – our work on the story Hansel and Gretel has continued.  This week you have all been able to clearly retell the story, great job everyone.  We have also been working on spelling words with al and le e.g. bottle, paddle, final.

Computing – we have finished our unit on photography, where the children were able to modify their photographic skills. They reflected on how light, camera angle, camera focus and other elements can affect how good an image is taken.

DT – we have created many designs with mechanism this week, including making pop up Easter cards.

Have a fantastic Easter break and we can’t wait to welcome you back on Tuesday 22nd April.
