Class 2 have enjoyed the sunshine this week! We have had great use of the outdoor areas to learn.
This is what we have been up to this week:
In Maths we have been working on finding lines of symmetry, distinguishing the number of faces and vertices on 3D shapes as well as naming them. We have also continued to work hard on our addition, subtraction and number problem questions.
In English we have been working on our SPAG, as we have focussed on plurals, spellings of words, the past and present tense and how they change, along with finding nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. We have also linked our English work to our History topic of the ‘History of Rayleigh’. We have been exploring facts about Rayleigh’s landmarks, what and where they are, how they got their names and so many other interesting facts!
We have also been drawing pictures of the Rayleigh landmarks whilst enjoying the outdoor areas for PE and to re-enact how people felt years ago, when on top of Rayleigh Mount!
Lots of brilliance has been shared this week, great job everyone!
