Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Week 3 - 10 March

Here are your home learning tasks for this week:
1. Read everyday, this will help you to become more fluent and to understand what you read.

2. Your spellings for this week are attached. These will be checked on Friday 21st March in our spelling quiz. Please learn all 10 and if you would like an extra task then these can be written into sentences.

3. Your home learning this week is to create a bright and colourful poster all about saving the planet - how can we help to keep the planet clean, keep the air fresh and make it a safe place for animals to live. We spoke about this in class as part of our Science week and we also watched the On the Farm live video on Monday which had some great ideas. These posters will go on display so please bring them into class.

Enjoy your weekend!

Wow, what a busy week!

What superstars you all were at the Music Festival on Tuesday. You sung and played instruments with confidence and pride, well done everyone! You were amazing and were very proud of you.

We’ve also celebrated Science week this week. We begun the week by enjoying a live On the Farm broadcast. We learnt a lot about animals, what they eat, where they live, what they like and we even saw baby animals including chicks and lambs.  Everyone has been working very hard on an invention for our competition ‘If I were an engineer’. There were so many great ideas and we can’t wait to send these off to the inventors to judge!

A great week everyone, well done!
