13.11.20 Home Learning
We have been working hard this week on hearing the initial sounds of words and have also been learning about Diwali. For home learning, we would love you to take a look at the pictures attached and come up with some words to describe them. See if you can hear the initial sound of the words you come up with and write them down. If you can hear more than the initial sound please write them down too. 
In phonics, we have been working on the sounds and letter formation of:
z, zz, qu and ch
Please practise at home writing and pronouncing the sounds as much as you can. This can be using chalk, pens, pencils, paint or even in the mud.
Our tricky words are:
into, he, we, be
Attached below are this weeks spellings. Please practise these at home and we will practise these on Tuesday in school. Then we will check they know them on Thursday mornings.
