Home Learning - 15.10.2021

For this week's home learning we would like you to write a newspaper report. This could be about an exciting event that has happened to you or something that happens to a character in your favourite story. 


Remember all the important skills that we have learnt about in our English lessons such as:
- A catchy headline to grab the readers attention.
- An introduction including the 5Ws (who, what, where, when, why)
- Photograph
- Facts
- Write in third person using past tense
- Reported speech


We have attached some helpful hints and a word mat to help with the vocabulary. You can use the computer to create your newspaper report, write it yourself on lined paper or use the template provided.
We cannot wait to read them.
