Home Learning 26.1.24

Your home learning is inspired by our fantastic Art topic and is going to broaden your knowledge on the Mayan civilisation. We have started looking at Mayan’s art and craft techniques this week and we are going to continue our learning on this topic across a few of  our subjects.

Your task is to research a game called Pok-Ta-Pok. I have attached a research sheet to help you. With the facts you can retrieve from the fact file which I have attached and with your research I would like you to create a poster about Pok-Ta-Pok.

Your spellings are attached too. There are 10 picked from our spellings from our in class learning this week for you to remember and refresh yourselves.  Then there are 10 spellings that have a pattern which are from our year 5 curriculum. These will be new to you and are the 10 that you need to learn ready for our spelling test next Friday.
