Week 5
It has been an exciting week in Class 5!
In maths, we are just finishing up our addition and subtraction unit and preparing to move on to statistics! We've learned about approximating our answers and using inverse strategies to help us check our work.
In English, we are coming to the end of our rainforest unit as we present our stances on deforestation, which were dictated by the character we were given. We have been working hard on our presentations and can't wait to share our positions with everyone!
This week we have also begun our exciting space unit and had a visit from VR to compliment our lessons! We really enjoyed using virtual reality to help us understand the scales of the planets and to imagine what our universe looked like when it had just begun!
