Welcome back!

Hope everyone had a great Easter! How lovely it was to have 2 weeks break. I hope everyone managed to have a lovely rest. 

Year 6 have come back to school brilliantly and are working hard and supporting each other in their learning. 

We wasted no time getting back into this week - we have really smashed ratio this week and solved lots of SATs style word problems. In English, we have unpicked sentences and thought about word classes and phrases and clauses. 

We also started learning about Pearl Harbor and how this prompted America to join World War 2. 

We have only 2 more weeks till  SATs......yikes! But we are ready to go! Please keep supporting your child at home with their revision and encourage them to pop in at lunchtime if they are struggling with anything.
