Week 2
Another lovely week in Class 5!
This week we have focused on sharpening our descriptive skills for both settings and characters. Using a wide range of vocabulary, we have added expanded noun phrases, fronted adverbials, adverbs, similes, metaphors and personification to make our descriptions leap off the page!
In math, we are just finishing up our place value unit and are continuing to practice rounding numbers all the way up to one million! Remember: 0-4 hit the floor, 5-9 climb the vine!
We have also begun making personalised quizzes in computing and have some fun skills ahead of us to learn!
Next week is our first reading extravaganza so please spend as much time reading as possible! The more our students are sponsored, the more books we can earn for our school!! Let’s read, read read!!
