We genuinely appreciate your views and opinions on the school. Tell us where you feel changes could be made but also let us know what we're doing right.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your hard work over the year . This year has felt just a little bit more ‘normal’. It was lovely to see the children back at the church singing Christmas Carol’s and I especially loved hearing all about the school Panto trip and seeing the fab photo’s that were shared from the day.

Jess has been full of excitement going into school over the past few weeks and that is credit to you all making this time of year so special for all the childrenJ.

I just wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed watching the KS1 production this morning; the children were wonderful and such a credit to you and their class teachers and other staff.

I know how much time and effort goes into a production and the Year 2 and Year 1 staff have clearly worked very hard with their classes; the pure joy and excitement on each and every little one's face was just magical to see.

Please pass our congratulations on to everyone involved.

Wyburns is a wonderful school; every event we have attended shows clearly how much the children and staff love the community and atmosphere - and each other.

Just wanted to send an email to say thank you to all the teachers and staff involved in sports day yesterday. It was such a lovely morning. The children were all amazing and the staff made it lots of fun for them.

Re: End of term thanks 

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the staff at Wyburns for battling the challenges over the last 18 months. It's been such a difficult time but the smooth transition back into learning for both M and H has been such a testament to all the hard work that's gone on behind the scenes, all of which has been so appreciated - keeping school a safe, fun and happy place to be :) 

An extra thank you to Mrs Jude, Mrs Stanley and Miss Lund for their support and fabulous teaching this year 😍

Just wished to say thank you to Team Wyburns for another amazing year.

A year of challenges for everyone and we smashed it.

RE: Outside Organisation

This is the first year Wyburns entered our Public Speaking competition.

Many of the other schools had previous experience and training.

I’m writing to say how incredibly impressed we were with your year fours and mostly Miss Hasson! - What a superb team entry. 

This class have clearly been taught very well and they all stepped up to the mark with confidence.

This is a skill they will have forever - and makes a difference!

I loved the way your school Moto was delivered and the lovely introduction by your Chair.

It is evident that Miss Hasson has worked so well with the class - your speaker was super!

Child E’s poem was also beautifully delivered.

… and the triumph!  seeing Miss Hasson give the feedback! - Brilliant!

Re: Bubble closure - working from home. 

Please could you pass on my thanks to all involved in this week's home learning for class 5. It has been completely seamless and Child C has had a fantastic week, despite not being able to be with his friends in person. He's looking forward to getting back on Monday! Thank you for everything you are all trying to do for the year 6's in difficult circumstances for us all.

Its been such a strange time, not seeing people we love or being at school, but home schooling is fun with Wyburns. Hope you all have a lovely half term, thank you for all you are doing for us.

Hello,

Just a quick message to congratulate the choirs' outstanding performance last night. They sang beautifully and behaved impeccably despite having had such a long and busy day. It was also wonderful to see them looking so incredibly smart in their new uniform, they looked very proud of themselves and quite rightly so! They were great ambassadors for Wyburns, well done to them and thank you to all the staff involved for another enjoyable event.

Thank you letter-

I have had the privilege to attend two events involving Wyburns in as many days and I wanted to write and let you know how much I have enjoyed them.

The Young Voices at the O2 just blew me away, it was spectacular! The staff  and the children had worked so hard in preparation and it certainly paid off as the performance was first class.

The organisation was really impressive, the children were calmly herded wherever they needed to go and their behaviour was perfect the whole time.

Everyone was a credit to the school that day and I was proud to be just a small part of it.

We then had the mountain biking competition at Deanes school. The children threw themselves into the whole event with enthusiasm and determination. They encouraged and consoled each other with real empathy and compassion, which was incredibly touching to watch.

Although their overall success was not represented in a large number of medals, the children were winners in my eyes-their upbeat attitude and sportsmanship was mature beyond their years and captured the essence of an event of that nature perfectly.

Thank you for providing the children with these wonderful opportunities; to experience such a wide range of events-they have truly excelled!

Thank You E-mail -

I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to say thank you to you and your team for all the hard work and effort that they have put in this term.  I know it cannot be easy making arrangements and as parents we probably take this all for granted.  There have been lots of additional things happening at School this term which I wanted to personally send on my thanks for.   

It was really nice to be able to join my child for a school dinner. I have to admit that all were really well behaved and whilst I sat to eat, all of the children on the table were all very chatty and polite. 

The Panto, which must have been quite a military operation to get the whole school there and back without any losses, was a great success.  It must have taken a lot of planning and co-ordination to make this happen. 

It was lovely to see all of KS2 at the Methodist church today having such a great time.  All of these things make Wyburns such an enjoyable environment for the kids.

These things do not simply happen unless you and your team take time and effort in planning and carrying out these events.  I am very thankful to you all for the work you do, not just at this time of year but throughout each and every term.  I know it’s not easy.   Your staff there are all excellent, very helpful and very friendly, starting from the ladies in the office, to your teaching staff, Mr Donohue and of course Mrs Mitchell and everyone else who I might have missed.

I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and enjoy the well earned break.
