20.3.2020 Home Learning

For this weeks home learning we would like you to work on your measuring skills. This week we've been using a variety of equipment to measure in mm's, cm's, m's. Choose 6 items in your house of varying sizes and practice measuring them accurately. These could be big or small and should include using mm's, cm's and m's. You can take photos of your measuring skills, record them on paper or present it in your own format. Remember to measure accurately by always starting at 0 and using the correct unit of measurement at the end e.g. 30mm, 14cm, 5m.

Challenge: Can you convert your measurements from mm to cm, cm to m? What measurements are bigger than metres and where would we use them?

You could also order the measurements according to their length.

We look forward to seeing your fantastic measuring skills.
