Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Week Beginning - 11.10.2021

WOW Class 4. What a week!

We have been super busy again this week and we are so proud of your resilience and positivity.

In Maths we have been learning how to complete subtraction problems with exchanges. This is a tricky task but you have been amazing showing a great understanding of place value, accuracy with your calculations and are quickly becoming column method experts. Keep up the great work!

In English we have continued with our recount writing themed activities and ended the week writing our very own newspaper reports after a mysterious object was discovered on the school field...very exciting!!! You were fabulous reporters asking all the right questions, interviewing and using all the skills learnt to produce some fab newspaper reports.

Our afternoons have been packed full of French, RE, Art, performance poetry for Harvest Festival and writing Messages of Hope to local residents of a care home. We really enjoyed reading their messages to us and have thought very carefully about what we would like to say in our replies. You can see some of these kind, inspiring words in our photos below. What a very thoughtful bunch you are blush

We also had time to take a little sneak peek at our production script which was very exciting too. Some speaking parts have been allocated and others will be allocated next week so have fun learning those lines. We cannot wait to start practising next week!

Have a lovely, restful weekend.

Mrs Ferrari, Mrs Clark and the Class 4 team smiley
