A busy week for all this week! We have been discovering how WW2 began and the reasons behind the change in political leadership in Germany at that time. We also discussed Operation Dynamo and the war effort to bring the soldiers home from Dunkirk. We were stunned by the fact that some 700 boats sailed across the channel to save around 300,000 soldiers.  

Following this, we created a class poem and a piece of art work depicting the historical event. Photos to follow!

We also had a visit from Essex police to support the children with their understanding of online safety and the wider world. We had an in depth discussion reminding the children that they are the first generation with such advanced technology so we need to learn to use it safely.
