Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

The Pied Piper

Class 3 have been working super hard on creating shape poems inspired by the story of the Pied Piper. Everyone got so creative and created eerie atmospheres in their poetry, and were incredibly descriptive about the disgusting rats from the story. The adjectives and expanded noun phrases not only painted a vivid picture of the rats, but also added an extra sprinkling of excellence to the poems.

After these had been written, Class 3 then performed them by reading them aloud dramatically. Class 3 were confident learners and as a result were bursting with brilliance!

Well done Class 3, and long may the brilliance and drama continue into our work on Dick Whittington! smiley
