Please take part in the consultation to save Victor, our School Crossing Patrol Officer.
Have your say before 24th April at
www.essexinsight.org.uk/consultations
Go to "Have your say" and browse current consultations.
Please join us after school on Thursday 3rd April at 3:20pm for a SATs information meeting. This will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and have good look at some example SATs papers.
There have been some changes in recent years including: the introduction of a formal grammar and punctuation test; an amendment to the reading test format; and the introduction of Level 6 tests for those pupils attaining high Level 5 scores. Even if you are an 'old-hand' at SATs, you may want to come and familiarise yourselves with these updates.
These tests can be quite a stressful experience for our young people if we're not careful, so we really welcome your support in working together to help them to show how brilliant they are in their first set of formal exams. Many thanks.
We can't wait for our trip to Mersea!!
Please join us for an information meeting Friday 28th March at 3:45pm - this is a change from the original time of 3:20pm.
If you can't make this - don't worry. We will send out all of the paperwork to anyone who cannot attend.
If you have any burning questions, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Mrs Mitchell
Our years 5 and 6 cycled to the max at the event yesterday in Danbury.
Well done to all of the Wyburns team.
'We all travelled to Danbury Outdoor Centre to take part in the mountain bike competition. It was a challenging course, especially the steep hill we had to climb!
There were four heats which involved 1 practice lap followed by 2 laps racing style.
I (TH) came second in the final! Three of us came away with medals and the others just missed out.
We had a great day. '
Time is flying by!
Please remember that the final payment for Mersea is due by 31st March.
Thank you.
