Hi Acorns, 

This week, we have been looking at growing and the story of Jack and the beanstalk. See if you can find out how your favourite fruit or vegetable is grown. 

Practise your reading by reading the books provided in your bags. Please can these be returned by the next Wednesday. You can continue to use Bug Club at any time.

This week in phonics we have been: 

Embedding our phase 3 sounds and writing them in sentences. E.g He has a jug.  

Tricky words: 

he, she, we, me, be, was, you, they, all, are, my, her

In maths, we have been looking at how short and long objects are. See if you can find objects that are longer than or short than others.  Can you find the longest sock? Can you find the shortest spoon?
