Another busy but very productive week!
Our space orerrys are underway and the children have loved sawing, painting and creating them! We can't wait to show you the finished article!
In maths we have smashed place value and have a deep understanding of the make up of numbers, negative numbers and Roman numerals. We have come up with different strategies to calculate and we are ready to apply our knowledge next week to calculating!
English has been all about research and planning this week. We are preparing to write a report all about the moon landings. We have absolutely loved finding out about Neil Armstrong and the lunar module, including how the Eagle came to land!
Next week we will begin to write our reports using all the technical vocabulary we have learnt and all of the grammatical sentence structure knowledge we have acquired over the week.
Tomorrow is Jeans for Genes day so don't forget the denim!
