Road Safety Week 19.11.18
This week has been Road Safety Week in school. Class 1 have been looking at how to be a safe bike rider. We have talked about how to check our bikes to make sure they are safe, what to wear to help us stay safe and how we can cycle safely.
We used our ideas to write a set of class instructions on 'How to Ride a Bike Safely:'
- Check the tyres
- Check the brakes
- Check the lights
- Wear a helmet
- Wear bright clothes
- Cycle with an adult in a safe place

This week's 'Home Learning' is to design a cycle helmet. Completed designs will be entered into a competition. Please ask if you need a copy of the form containing all the details :-)
