Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

16th March 2023

These weeks are just flying past! I can't believe we only have 2 weeks until the end of Spring term!

We have almost completed our WW2 journey; we are now in 1944 ready to discover what happened in Normandy. The children have remained enhused throughout and are really enjoying applying their Historical knowledge to their English work. This week we have been busy creating non-chronological reports about the planes used in WW2. We have debated the pros and cons of each along the way too.

Last week we created instructions on how to keep safe during the Blitz. Next week, our learning will take the form of a newspaper report.

In maths we are busy finishing our FDP learning before we move to area, perimeter and volume. We then hope to practise the skills we have learnt. Percentages proved tricky to start with but we are now smashing it!

Red Nose Day tomorrow will give us the opportunity to dance and play some games. We will also practice our (top secret) dance!

Have a fabulous weekend all and see you bright and breezy on Monday
