Week 3 - 2-5th May
Year 2 have had a busy week this week. We began by visiting Hyde Hall as part of our Science topic. The children learnt all about seeds, plants and wildlife, including how it looks, how to care for it and what to be careful of. There are some fab photos under the Hyde Hall link, take a look.
In Maths the we have continued our work on fractions including find 3/4 of amounts and embedding our fraction skills learnt so far. In English we wrote a Thank you letter to Hyde Hall, which was brilliant! The week ended with our King's Coronation Celebration where the children learnt about the King and his importance to our country. We all celebrated with a school picnic and sing song!
