The weeks are just flying by! I can't believe we are nearly at the end of January! An amazing week again though Class 6. From fractionating to running, amazing vocabulary to sketching skylines, we have worked our socks off.
Whilst learning about Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo, the children decided to create their own war poems. Fantastic to see all the vocabulary and ideas generated over the last few weeks being put into a wonderful piece of poetry. The children were so enthused they each performed to rapturous applause! Amazing Class 6.
The flair for writing was evident this week, as we used descriptive devices for parts of a narrative. I cannot wait to read the finished article! The brilliance didn't stop there though! Children are taking the cross country training very seriously this year and are either choosing to run around the field and developing their stamina or, they are getting active in running games and having lots of fun whilst adding to their skill set. As for fractions. Well....amazing! We can now add, subtract, order, compare, multiply, divide, find fractions of amounts and find the whole from a part of a number. Awesome work Class 6!
I am looking forward to what next week brings :)
