A Day in Acorns

In Acorns, we love to come in and start the day by reading a wonderful book. We like to share and think about all the questions we could ask. After, we like to choose and find lots of wonderful things to play with. We love diving into the mud garden, playing in the water or imagining we are on a boat going all the way to the moon. Then it is phonics time where we learn all the fabulous sounds to help us read and write. Snack time is always fun as we choose our favourite fruit and find someone else to play with. Our brains are then tested in maths where we use lots of lovely objects and pictures to help us count. Yum, it is lunch time where we fill our tummies with lovely lunches and get to share stories about our day. After lunch, we like to choose and find lots of activities like scooting, sliding and biking to do. Then the day is already done and we settle down to listen to a story and get ourselves ready for home.
