6.11.20 Home Learning

Hi Acorns,

In maths, we have been working hard on completing and making our own repeating patterns. For home learning this week, we would love you to create your own repeating patterns. This could be with Lego, leaves or even spoons and forks. See if you can use two or even three different objects, colours or shapes in your pattern. The most important thing is to have fun. Maybe even challenge someone at home to continue your pattern.

In phonics, we have been working on the sounds and letter formation of:

 j, v, w, x and y

Please practise at home writing and pronouncing the sounds as much as you can. This can be using chalk, pens, pencils, paint or even in the mud.

Have a go at our I Spy Activity.

Our tricky words are:

He, She

We would also love the children to start learning some spellings. These will be attached below every week. Please practise these at home and we will practise these on a Tuesday in school. Then we will check they know them on Thursday mornings.

Please send home learning to homelearning@wyburns.org or turn it in on google classroom.

Thank you all for your fabulous home learning! The postcards have been wonderful!

Have a lovely weekend!
