Week 5 - The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Mini-beasts!!!

The first week of the Summer term is here and our new topic is Mini-beasts! Over the next few weeks we will be looking at lots of stories based on creepy crawlies and learning about insects of different kinds. Hopefully you can get out into your gardens and look for some mini-beasts or see what you can spot as you go for a walk around the local area. Mini-beasts can be hiding anywhere!

The first book we are going to think about is 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. I have attached a link to the story being read on Youtube and there are some suggested activities for you to do at home. I have also uploaded some worksheets from Twinkl that relate to our theme of the week, should you want them.

We appreciate that not everyone has access to printers, so hopefully most of the suggested activities can be completed without the need to print anything.

Have fun everyone!
