Rain, wind and sunshine, we have had it all this week!
Despite the changeable weather Class 2 have adapted to every situation.
We have been learning a lot about the weather in our Geography lessons where we have discussed different types of weather, what they look like, how they can affect us, how we can keep safe in different weathers as well as being able to enjoy different weathers safely. We have been comparing weather in the UK to other countries and we will continue this into next week.
In Maths you have been working hard to add, subtract, compare numbers and solve number problems. Some great counting using; number lines, 100 squares, dienes and your fingers.
In English we have been reading the story of The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. We have explored the characters, discussed their jobs, discovered lots of new vocabulary and even interviewed Mr Grinling himself!
Lots of great questions were written for Mr Grinling in class on Wednesday, fantastic!
I look forward to continuing this story next week!
Fantastic work Class 2!
