This week Class 2 have been working on 2D and 3D shapes in Maths including finding their properties, finding lines of symmetry, drawing shapes and using a ruler accurately. In English they have enjoyed the Gingerbread story where they re-enacted the story, created a story map, wrote a character profile and designed their own story. We have continued to learn all of the songs and played the instruments ready for the Music Festival performance on Tuesday. In Computing we discussed how to search the internet by using keywords instead of using long wordy sentences. This is just a snapshot of our fab learning this week, well done for being so resilient and positive. We are super proud of you all!
Home Learning for this week is:
1. Spellings for this week are attached.
Challenge:
Put them into sentences using conjunctions - or, but, so, if, because, when, that, although, however.
2. Complete the maths sheet on 2D and 3D shapes.
Please also see Goggle Classroom for a note about the Music Festival next week.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Clark
