In maths, we worked on equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages. The children used their place value knowledge to convert between fractions, decimals and percentages. In addition, we worked on solving problems involving fractions, decimals and percentages.
At Wyburns, we studied the picture book 'Journey' for World Book Week. In Class 5, we retold the story from the girl's point of view.
In science, we studied some life processes in plants and animals. We studied the process of reproduction in plants and animals and learnt some key vocabulary. In addition, we studied how humans develop from a foetus into old age.
