What a fabulous end to the half term! This week we have been inspired by the amazing author Grant Strong, cracked long division and supported each other through our first assessments. 

Grant Strong commented on the children's enthusiasm and really sparked their creativity. So much so that they wanted to create the stories in their heads. they wrote solidly for an hour (using copious amounts of paper!) and produced some imaginative masterpieces. Grant (and I) were blown away! I am so pleased that you took control of your learning and we went with your idea!

The children remained focused and determined for their assessments and should be very proud of themselves. They all worked really hard and continued to be the best that they can be. 

Now for a well-deserved two week break!

When we return we will be practising for our annual lights switch on in November. This year the children will opt in if they would like to represent Wyburns at this amazing event. It is open to all the children across all three classes and we can take a maximum of 40 children with us :)

Have lots of fun and recharge those batteries. I look forward to seeing you all ready to learn on the 4th!
