Evolution
The children spent this afternoon proving the theory of Evolution. We all became palaeontologists and studied fossils today. We found out that we share 50% of our DNA with a banana! Mrs Fagence did say that may explain a few things......
We also discovered that a woolly mammoth was completely encased in ice for around 10,000 years, allowing for scientists to discover how they adapted to the freezing temperatures.
We were amazed at how things have evolved and that we may share some of our DNA with dinosaurs. We just want to know what the starting point for all living things is!
