Well that's it. An absolutely fabulous year is at an end. You have all been absolutely amazing and I am privileged to be able to do the job I do and teach all of you!
Have a wonderful rest everyone and I wish Year 6 all the best for the next chapter of their journey! We'll miss you but know you are ready to spread your wings and share your brilliance with your new schools!
I'm looking forward to working with Year 5 next year (as Year 6!) We have exciting times ahead too :)
Take care all and continue to shine!
Thank you for all my thoughtful gifts - you really are so kind and I love them all!
Tomorrow is our last day together (I will miss you all!) so we are having a lovely day with games and DVD's. Please feel free to bring any games you would like to share and any U or PG DVD's for us to watch.
Year 6, don't forget your shirts for signing!
This year has been a fantastic learning journey and I wish you all the very best for your next adventures!
Happy holidays everyone!
Just a couple of reminders :)
Costumes are due into school Monday 8th July.
Photos (year 6) are due in Monday 8th July.
Please practise the songs (they are further down this page)
Please practise your lines.
Show time in just over a week! Eeek!!
Don't forget the battle on TTRockstars. Well done to those children that have already been on this week :)
I'll be announcing a new competition this week so make sure you get on there :)
I've only had one child complete the reading challenge so far this term. You've got to be in it to win it!
What a great way to start the Summer term Class 6! It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic, positive learners this morning. A fantastic attitude to learning and such resilience when faced with tricky classification. It is great watching you all blossom this year :)
Keep it up guys!
Next Friday, we are having a maths day at school and will be investigating all day. If you have any cardboard boxes (cereal or shoe box size) please can you bring them in :)
Thanks
Battle of the bands!
The boys have been battling hard (particularly TC and FF) but the girls are still in the lead. This is because of the fantastic team effort on the girls part. Come on boys! You can catch them :)
Just a quick reminder that children are encouraged to dress up for Viking day on Monday. They can also wear similar Viking/Anglo-Saxon colours if they prefer. Year 5 are still taking part in the Prince William award so will need their clothes for the afternoon.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all Monday!
Mrs Fagence :)
