Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!
Wow Class 4, what an amazing first week back! You have amazed us all, been super resilient and worked your socks off!
We have been very busy in mathematics working hard on improving our place value knowledge and have applied our knowledge to lots of tricky questions!
We have enjoyed starting to read our new novel in English and have had lots of fun working with the story of Pinocchio. We have shared lots of ideas, have gained a good understanding of the story and its themes and morals and have even considered alternative scenarios and used our knowledge of the characters to make predictions about the next part of the tale.
PSHE has been high on our agenda this week and we have learnt lots of about friendships and relationships, discussed what makes us a good friend, how to resolve conflict issues and why teamwork, working collaboratively and negotiation is important is important.
Our week ended with the school elections where we all had the chance to express our opinions and vote for Junior governors, Arts Ambassador, Sports Ambassadors and Eco Ambassadors. We thoroughly enjoyed using the new voting booths. Check out some of the photos below which will be added in the next few days. Congratulations to our chosen Class 4 representatives!
Have a lovely safe weekend. See you on Monday.
