Week 7 - Fireworks
Hello Acorns,
What a fabulous first week back after half term! You have been amazing again. We have been up to lots and lots of learning this week. At the beginning of the week, we learnt about why and how we celebrate bonfire night. Then, we learnt about the artist Jackson Pollock who used a drip technique to create his paintings. We used his technique to create our own firework pictures using paint and glitter. We also learnt how to login to the computers and create another firework picture using the programme 'Paint'. On Thursday, we had our own bonfire party where we ate giant marshmallows, created our own fire and watched fireworks with our glowsticks. It was great fun!!
