Dick Whittington

Class 5 have been looking at the story of Dick Whittington. We have used the strategy Talk for Write so that we can remember the story. With eagerness, we have been looking at how to write a persuasive speech and will be writing our own. There has been lots of vocabulary and grammar to learn but we have also had lots of fun! We have reconstructed a court room with Dick Whittington versus the rats and have made emotive sentences to express their feelings. Can't wait to do more of these exciting activities!!!
