Active Week 2018

Active Week has been a huge success and has ensured that we are all staying active not only on the playground, but also in our lessons!

We have written an informative text about a sports hero who has inspired us, taking part in a Year 5 VS Year 6 Rounders Match and learnt a new dance on Go Noodle! We have also made sure our grammar starters and Maths starters are active enough to keep our minds and bodies moving!

Class 5 have also taken part in an Active project. The children were given the task of creating their own summer sports camp which would encourage young people to take up sport. The children had to decide on a few titles and slogans and then go and collect their data for the most popular name, as well as what sports different year groups liked. They then created a presentation to persuade Sky Sports to invest in their project  - thinking about how much the camp would cost and what it would offer! The children thought of some fantastic ideas!
