Week 3 - 20 Nov
This week Class 2 have been enjoying their English work on The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. They have retold the story, planned and written a diary as if they were Mr Grinling! What a busy man he is! In SPAG we have being adding ‘ed’ and ‘ly’ to words to change their meaning as well as looking at the past and present tense.
In Maths we have been exploring many number problems including adding, taking away, money, time and length. Great job Year 2!
As part of our DT and Geography lessons we have found out where food comes from, looked at these places on a map, spoken about why this could be (hot or cold climates), looked at the healthy food wheel for achieving balanced diet as well as planning a healthy meal based on healthy eating.
Our Christmas song show is in full swing, the children have been learning the songs, words and actions to the show. We can’t wait to share this with you!
