Every child has brilliance inside them. Our job is to dig it out and give it to the world!

Week 14 - 9th Dec

What a week!

We made lots of Christmas goodies, sang our hearts out at the church, had our last, but fun swimming session and watched the KS1 performance.  We also managed lots of learning in between.  We have begun to master our 6, 7 and 9 timetables, starting work on our Christmas poems for our Might Oak competition and leant how to sing a Christmas song in French.

Home Learning

Home learning this week is to put our computing skills into action.  Set by yourselves, you can write a story with edited photos, design a report about Santa, or create a poster.  This can be on word, publisher or google slides using paint to edit your photos.  Then upload it to our google classroom.  If you do not have access to this software, you can design it on paper.

Spellings

The final week of spellings will be to recap on our -tion, -cian and -sion words, which some of you are finding a little difficult to apply in your English work.

Maths

Our timetables test this week will be a mix of our 3, 6 and 7s.  Don’t forget for your 6s, you only need to double the 3’s.

Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs Hogan and the Class four team.
