Class 7 has had a wonderful week 3! We've been enjoying some dreamy data using spreadsheets on Google Sheets and Excel. We've learned some tricks and formulas that make us look like instant geniuses!
In maths we have looked at rounding (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3afU6JQG15I), negative numbers (using a number line for this really helped) and partitioning in our quest to understand Place Value. We will continue to practise reasoning from known facts to enable us to apply what we already know to other calculations.
Our writing has taken us on an exploration this week with more to come. We are creating an adventure story inspired by Amelia Earhart and Alex Honnold. The descriptive devices we are starting to use are fabulous!
Don't forget it is Macmillan coffee morning on Monday if you would like to donate any cakes or send us any recipes/photos etc of your baking skills!
