I can not quite believe where this week has gone! We had a super science workshop this morning and you all represented Wyburns brilliantly with your fab questions! This week we have consolidated our fraction and decimal knowledge (including equivalence) and you have shown me that you are all amazing fractionators!
Our English this week has revolved around the poem 'The Dreadful Menace' and once again your high level vocabulary choices and use of figurative language, has been incredible. I will post some photos f the finished articles next week!
Our new topic started this week in Geography with Mountain Ranges. You all worked hard to get to grips with the atlases again and were resilient at discovering where they all were in the world. Fabulous geographers, you demonstrated a good understanding of Everest and the successful climb to the summit by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tanzing Norgay.
You even created some fabulous Modroc volcanoes. All this whilst prepping for our video assembly on Monday! Great job Class 5!
