Jack and The Beanstalk - 20th February
Fee Fie Foe Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman..........
This week we are looking at the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The children have already been captured by the story and its characters. We are working hard this week on our writing, using the skills we have to write for lots of different reasons. We will be writing letters, lists, instructions, book reviews and so on... we are becoming very brave writers!
In Maths we are thinking about the time and how we measure it. We started by looking at the different seasons and how they change throughout the year. We will take a look at calendars and continue to learn the days of the week. By the end of the week we will start to look at clocks and how to use them.
We will be planting our own beans this week and watching them grow. I wonder if anyone will plant a magic bean?
